Inspiring Teacher of English Award 2026
Nominations for the annual Inspiring Teacher of English Award are now open. Presented by the Speak Good English Movement and The Straits Times with the support of the Ministry of Education, the Award has two categories – the Teaching Award and the Leadership Award.
The Award is open to all in-service teachers of English Language, including teachers of Literature in English and General Paper. All students, their parents, and teachers are invited to send in nominations for the Teaching Award to the Principal of the nominee’s school by 6 p.m. on Monday, 23 March 2026.

Arif Budiman Malay Language Teacher Award (AGAB) 2026
The Arif Budiman Malay Language Teacher Award (AGAB) 2026 is an annual award jointly organised by the Malay Language Council, Singapore (MBMS), Malay Language Teachers’ Association (PGBM), Berita Harian (BH) and Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee (MLLPC).
This award recognises outstanding Malay Language teachers who have made significant contributions to the teaching and learning of the Malay Language in our schools.
The closing date for nominations is Friday, 13 March 2026. All are invited to nominate our Malay Language teachers for this award to affirm their contributions to the teaching of Malay Language.

The Most Inspiring Tamil Teacher Award (MITT) 2026
The Most Inspiring Tamil Teachers’ Award (MITT) 2026 is an annual award jointly organised by the Tamil Murasu ™ with the partnership of the Tamil Language Learning and Promotion Committee (TLLPC) and the Singapore Tamil Teachers’ Union (STTU).
This award recognises outstanding Tamil language teachers who have made significant contributions to the teaching and learning of Tamil language in our schools.
The closing date for nominations is Friday, 13 March 2026.

With reference to Clause 9, Page 15 of BPS Student Handbook and Clause N, Page 33 of MK Family Handbook,
photograph(s) or video image(s) of students and parents/guardians may be
captured during school activities and events such as classroom lessons,
CCA, school camps and other school events. School may use and publish such
photographs and/or video recordings in school publications, website, social
media and other communication channels.
